The Brownstoners of Bedford-Stuyvesant‘s 33rd annual house tour is happening this Saturday, October 15th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Here’s a description: “Attendees will experience first-hand the luxury and sophistication embodied within these brownstones and limestones, many of which date back as far as the early 1800s. They will have the opportunity to speak directly with homeowners to learn about restoration, landscaping, general maintenance and the sustainability of a brownstone home. Displaying works in progress and fully renovated homes, the tour has traditionally proven to be an invaluable experience for homeowners and homebuyers alike.” Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 day-of and can be purchased at Ms. Dahlia’s Cafe and the T-Cup Cafe. The tour kicks off at “Old Boys” High School, at 832 Marcy Avenue.
