Clinton Hill’s Greene Hill Food Coop, set to open this fall, has been chosen as a grant recipient for the 12th annual Ideas That Matter program from SAPPI Fine Paper North America. The Co-Op received $20,000 for its branding efforts, especially in the effort to broaden and diversify its customer base. The grant comes just in time, as the Co-Op just began construction on the store. The grant will also help out with publicity; there are plans to distribute thousands of postcards around the neighborhood to those who may not know about the Co-Op. Remember, the sooner you join, the sooner it opens!
