Work’s started up at 730 Classon Avenue, the empty storefront next door to the recently-shuttered Chavela’s, which moved to Franklin Avenue. The owner told us the space will be a combination beer hall and art gallery that features live music occasionally. Because of the proximity to a school, the business can only receive a wine and beer license, something they hope to get this fall. No specific time frame on when construction should wrap, though. Seems like it has the potential to be pretty successful, especially considering the limited commercial options on Classon. Agree? GMAP
