Development Watch: 237 Carlton Avenue

We recently noticed contractor activity at 237 Carlton Avenue, the townhouse alongside the empty Carlton Mews lot in Fort Greene. DOB permits issued in late June gave the owners the go-ahead to put in new bathroom and kitchen fixtures, as well as install partitions and finishes. This townhouse has been covered plenty of times here before, most recently when it sold for $1,950,000. Meanwhile, the four townhouses planned for the Calton Mews site are still awaiting LPC approval, while the abandoned church on the property will be repaired soon. GMAP
