Taavo Somer's Williamsburg Restaurant Coming Along

When an Eater tipster got a look inside the new Taavo Somer (he of Freemans and Peels fame) project at the corner of Wythe Avenue and South 2nd Street last month, the blog reported (or guessed, really) that a “mid-summer opening could finally be in cards.” When we passed by on Sunday, there was lots of activity outside the kitchen area and the exterior work, including a small planted roof garden, appeared to be complete. Although it’s arguably “mid-summer” already, maybe an opening at 348 Wythe Avenue really is around the corner! GMAP
