Tomorrow evening CB2 is holding two public hearings of note. First up is a hearing on the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s long-in-the-making plans for Admirals Row Plaza, the big mixed-used development that’s supposed to include a supermarket, some light manufacturing and community facility/nonprofit space. It’s unclear at this point whether the project is going to involve reusing any of the property’s 19th century buildings, as initially planned. The second hearing is for the “Special 4th Avenue Enhanced Commercial District,” which aims to bolster retail in new developments on the rezoned thoroughfare from Atlantic Avenue to 24th Street. Both will take place at the CB2 Landuse Meeting tomorrow, which starts at 6 p.m. at 5 MetroTech Center.
