There’s more residential stock on the way for Kent Avenue in Williamsburg: 484 Kent, between South 11th and South 10th streets, is going to be converted. The three-story light manufacturing building will have 30 units on the second and third floors, according to a DOB permit. The first floor will remain non-residential. The question is whether it’ll be a condo or a rental. Update: as Brooklyn 11211 points out, this doesn’t look good for Rose Plaza, the affordable housing mega-project planned for 470 Kent Avenue.
