Sales launched at 524 Manhattan Avenue, a condo overlooking McCarren Park, a couple weeks ago. The photos above give a sense of what the place is like on the inside. According to Jessica Peters, one of the Prudential brokers handling the building, there are already two signed contracts in the building, and another three are out. Peters said they’re looking to start closings this summer. Prices are running between $565,000 for an 817-square-foot unit up to $1,150,000 for a 1,050-square-foot pad.

  1. @AliHajiSheik – The B line is a true 2 bed / 2 bath. For some reason they show a black box where the second shower is on the B line but I’ve seen it in person and there’s a shower in one bathroom and a bathtub in the other.

The A line is a 2 bed / 1 bath. The bath has both a shower and tub.

The buildings have great views and the floorplans definitely make more sense in person. A balcony off the livingroom would interrupt the view and light. feels really open and spacey

  2. Prices seem reasonable for the neighborhood actually, especially with those views. Select units will ALWAYS have those views as they face the park and aren’t ever going to be built in front of. I live in the neighborhood and have watched this building sit with little activity for a year – sporadic anyway. I’m surprised they are ready to sell.

They don’t mention the parking spaces that it appears each unit has. Are they selling them separately?

Unit 2A is pretty tempting. Too bad I bought less than a year ago.

  3. I’m not digging the floorplans of the remaining units. Both A and B have good size balconies but they’re off the bedrooms. That size balcony would be much nicer off the living room.
Also, the A-line looks like it has a dark living/kitchen area with only that one window off on a side wall, but who am I to kvetch…
