Panera Prep at 345 Adams

Work has begun on a corner section of 345 Adams Street in Downtown in advance of the eventual arrival of Panera Breads. Scaffolding’s gone up on a portion of the facade along Adams Street, where the arches on the building along Willougby Street will be recreated. (You can see a rendering of how the finished product is supposed to look on the 345 Adams website.) Construction on the facade should last until the end of the summer, and interior work on the Panera is expected to start at some point during that process, according to a rep for Muss Development, which owns the first two floors of the building. The eatery, which signed a 4,500-square-foot lease last year, will have space on the building’s first and second floors.
