Hopefully we’ll get more details on the exact location soon. “Last night Brooklyn Prospect Charter School announced their new site to be completed by the Fall of 2012. It will be on Douglass Street near 3rd Avenue, near the D & D Pool. Brooklyn Prospect is an International Baccalaureate School for 6th through eventually 12th grade currently located in the new Sunset Park High School. The building will be 75,000 square feet and with basement and roof use. Brooklyn Prospect will be the only tenant.” Update: The new school will not be located in the Daily News building. It is a ground-up new construction project on a lot in the middle of the block between 3rd and Nevins.
