(That’s also what The Post said yesterday in its follow-up to our breaking the bike path news on Wednesday.) Well, it turns out we won’t have to wait that long! A tipster just sent in these photos showing that it’s already open. Alright!
Yeah, we sure wouldn’t want a bike path to be passable by bicycles. That would be just crazy.
ps,
love the gravel. keeps the bikers who wear skin tight matching uniforms off the path for sure!
The cost of the interim (fancy word for temporary) bike path? Not only are tax dollars being overspent on many, many bike paths – there must be such a surplus, some can be spent on an interim one as well! oh, wait, i forgot, there is a recession :/
I’m chary of all of these bike paths. It will make it easier for bikers to help bedbugs spread all over the city.

Oh my God. I am agreeing with BHO. The planets are aligning in some scary way. Time to buy a lottery ticket.
Awesome! (and I agree with Ringo re: the gravel)
I don’t want to get all Brooklyn Heights Blog here, but how dumb that they covered that nice smooth blacktop with gravel on Pier 1? I wish the designers would come out of hiding so I could pelt them with that stupid pea gravel.
