The SCA construction crew has really kicked into high gear over on Poplar Street in Brooklyn Heights, where the 18,000-square-foot addition to the popular P.S. 8 elementary school is rising. Just five weeks ago we documented the foundation going in, and now the third story is getting framed out. They’ve got a rather impressive crane in the act—you can see it sticking out way above the townhouses of Brooklyn Heights from our office in Dumbo.
