There was a lot of discussion concerning the conversion at 216 Pacific when we first covered it as Development Watch over a year ago. Back then, it was slated to be a mixed-use building with commercial use on the bottom two floors with the top two floors split into three residential units. Now the commercial space is spoken for: Flavor Paper, a designer wallpaper company that hails from New Orleans, has been set up in all its neon wondrousness since September. And all three upstairs units are occupied by Flavor Paper employees. We took a look inside the building, which is just now getting fully operational. They’ll be posting information about showroom appointments in a short matter of time. It is a sight to see, if only to test their scratch and sniff banana wallpaper.
