We just mentioned yesterday in our Food and Drink Roundup that Crif Dogs, the popular East Village purveyor of deep-fried hotdogs, is coming to Williamsburg, and after a little digging we found out the location. Looks like the spot is at 555 Driggs, at North 7th, right off of the Bedford L stop. They just applied for a liquor license there but don’t have any building permits posted yet. It’s a pretty shabby looking place at the moment, so it’ll be nice to see some life brought into the building. Of course, it’s hard to be the location, adjacent to the entrance to the Bedford L. GMAP

well, i guess it would be cool if they put the ‘eat me’ weiner up there.
Good location – it’s been vacant for 5 or 6 years now (or so it seems). Always wondered why no one was opening there.
