Last week was a big week for the nightlife scene in Ssouthern Clinton Hill. As we reported, Hot Bird 2.0 opened on Tuesday night at the corner of Atlantic and Clinton Avenues. A couple of days later, Buka, which we’ve been waiting for since last October, soft-opened at 946 Fulton Street. The 57-seat West African bar and restaurant doesn’t have all its artwork up yet but the space looks very professionally done. We got a glimpse at the menu, which was chock full of items like plantains, goat and rice. Lots of spicy tomato-based stews too.
