In early March we reported that 80 Dekalb, the 365-unit rental tower at the intersection of Downtown Brooklyn and Fort Greene, was half-rented. Now, a reliable source tells us, the building (which has been advertised of late on Brownstoner) is 60 percent rented.

  1. This figure was stated yesterday by a senior GFI representative (building brokers) at a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce real estate executive committee.

    Interesting that the ads that accompany the page of this piece alternate between the two directly competing buildings: Avalon Ft. Greene and The Brooklyner.
