Retail and Housing Complex Coming to Williamsburg

You heard it here first: A large new retail and housing complex is being planned for the large triangular plot of land bordered by Keap Street, Grand Street and Borinquen Place in Williamburg. A plywood fence started to go up around the former Shell gas station last week, as per this permit, and the developer tells us that the first phase of the project will include a “retail strip center” with an “apartment tower” to follow.
