In 2009, the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership was one of the winning organizations in the first round of the NYC Plaza Program for the proposed plaza between Grand Avenue and Emerson Place on two blocks of an existing service road. And in the fall, the Partnership issued a call for ideas, which yield a wide range of submissions. For the next week, kicking off with a party tonight, the renderings will be on display in a storefront at 352 Myrtle Avenue. The opening reception tonight runs from 5 to 8 p.m. For more information about the project and viewing hours, see here.
