The buzz last month about a banh mi joint opening on 5th Avenue between 5th and 6th streets was on the money. On Friday, a place called Home S opened in the storefront next to Willie’s Dawgs. All banh mi (classic, pork chop, chicken, etc.) cost $6, and bubble teas start at $3.75. There’s no pho on the menu, but a guy working there said there’s a possibility it might eventually show up.
