Since last week, the message on the old power plant next to the Gowanus Canal has been amended. In addition to saying “Stop Shopping,” the side visible from 3rd Avenue now also reads, “It’s Sick. Barf. To recap: Last year, the message was No More Corporate Bullshit. Then, that was amended with a pithy Fuk Wall St. That whole deal got painted over this summer and the building was mum until these latest missives.
