Frustration is building on the Brooklynian message boards over delays at BKLYN GOLD, the new rental complex on Gold Street between Tillary and Concord Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Evidently, problems relating to the Certificate of Occupancy are pushing back move-in dates and causing serious problems for the first batch of lease signers, some of whom are going to be left out in the cold for a while. Here’s one person’s experience thus far:

My boyfriend and I were supposed to move in December 19 and we were told they didn’t have the CofO and that the move in date would DEFINITELY be Jan2. The holidays were ruined, we had already taken off work thinking we were going to be moving and instead spent the time moving into storage connected to the building. Then it was postponed AGAIN and AGAIN. I asked if they were just picking dates out of the future and finally got the answer I wanted to hear -THEY DON’T KNOW when they’ll have the CofO!

Bummer.
