Scarlet Letter(s) For Food Co-op Members
Remember that New York Times confessional about the shame of being a lapsed Park Slope Food Co-op member? Well, Gothamist reports, it has spawned a new line of t-shirts. Prompted by the article, one community member “decided to make a series of shirts and products that let Coop members and others wear their statuson the outside.” The result: Coop Tees. While “Suspended at the Coop” is clearly the most fun, there are several other taglines affixed to both tee shirts and tote bags, including “Pulling a Double at the Coop” and “Doing a Makeup at the Coop.” Good times.
