70 Berry Street, aka the Allan Building, just hit the market last week. The 38-unit new construction project looks pretty nice to us, crisply modern but also clearly paying tribute to the area’s architectural heritage. The developers must be praying that this project fares as well on the open market as the neighboring 72 Berry did. It looks like the interiors are decent and the prices (at $600 to $700 a fott) are similar so maybe it will. We heard an early report that there are “quite a few” accepted offers already.
