Bxgirl, I think I called myself the worst thing possible earlier today…crazy cat lady! Ha!

Benson, I say this in all sincerity….I did not mean to offend you in any way at all. If my comment on the HOTD did just that, I apologize to you. We all have our sensitive buttons and clearly (to me anyway) any jokes regarding Italian-Americans and/or their accents (perceived or actual) is one of yours. Different things offend different people whereas others may find it funny. In my definition, this does not necessarily brand one as a racist, a stereotyper, or even a hypocrite. Simply different strokes for different folks. I personally don’t see the offense, but out of respect for you, I will make an effort to be more mindful about it. Hopefully this won’t prevent you from sitting next to me and quaffing a brew when you make it back to Brooklyn.
