This house at 31 Vanderbilt Avenue hit the market back in April asking $825,000 and is still asking $825,000 despite the passage of four months without at deal. While the exterior is attractive (if you don’t count that front door) the interior isn’t particularly impressive. Sure, there’s an original fireplace or two and a pier mirror that have survived the ravages of being converted to a four-family with blah finishes, but otherwise it’s unlikely to win the affections of old house fans. Now, if they’d lower the price a bit and the Navy Green development plans would pick up some momentum, they might have some luck.
