We’ve been worried about what the facade of 2 Lefferts Place, the new four-story building going up at the corner of St. James Place, because, well, small developers in the area have tended to pick the ugliest brick possible in recent years. So it was with great relief that we noticed the choice of brick that’s started to go up at 2 Lefferts in recent days. Nice matte red brick that looks like it could even be old. The close-up photo on the jump shows how it lines up next to the neighboring townhouse. Lintels look good too. Nice job!
