In anticipation of the annual Park(ing) Day NYC festivities coming up on September 18, Transportation Alternatives is holding a design competition for a pre-fab “park in a box” that could be easily produced and distributed to the various parking spaces that will be colonized for a day. Among other rules, the POP.parks must not use more than $20 in materials. Get out those sketchpads, people!
