Cafe Grumpy, the coffee shop with locations in Greenpoint and Chelsea, now has a new outpost on 7th Avenue between 11th and 12th streets. The small storefront was previously home to the clothing store Lola. Grumpy is set up more for takeout than lounging; the narrow shop only has a few seats and a couple of benches.
