The owners of Smith Street’s Bar Great Harry—a beer snob’s paradise—are getting ready to open a new joint near the corner of 4th Avenue and Carroll. The bar will share a wall with the former lesbian bar Cattyshack (which closed down early this year and in its present incarnation seems to be rarely open) but does not have anything to do with its neighboring establishment. The BGH biz will have an outdoor space that its owners say will lend it a beer garden vibe, and the emphasis will be on craft beer, with 24 draft lines and a couple of casks.
