dock-street-dumbo-042209.jpgThis just in from a tipster: This morning the Department of City Planning approved Two Trees’ proposal for a mixed-use Dock Street development but threw the opposition a small bone by trimming the height of the wing closest to the bridge by one floor. There will be lots more detail to report in the morning, we suspect. Stay tuned. Final hurdle: City Council. Complete Dock Street coverage here. Update: The Brooklyn Paper has more detail…The vote was 11-2. Quotes from all the major players here.

  1. 82.1% of Community Board 2 voted for the project. 84.6% of the City Planning Commission approved of it. I’m predicting 42-9 at the City Council.
