Sparks are flying in the wake of Community Board 13′s approval of a slew of zoning recommendations (originally proposed by Councilman Recchia) that are favorable to developer Thor Equities; in fact, The Daily News reports that some of the recommendations match the developer’s suggestions word-for-word. At least Thor is getting its money’s worth: Thor-related entities have spent almost $200,000 on lobbying efforts since 2005. The City is pissed.
