sterling-green-0309.jpgThe Brooklyn Eagle, the last independent paper in Brooklyn, gave it up yesterday for Sterling Green, the new eight-unit project at 580 Sterling Place on the Prospect Heights/Crown Heights border that is, according to its developer, “a seriously green project.” (It’s also a “green” project for us, since they’re an advertiser.) All that bamboo flooring and energy efficiency translates into per square foot prices of only $400 to $500. Two of the eight units have contracts out so far. GMAP
