Mayor Bloomberg basically told the State yesterday to s#!+ or get off the pot when it comes to control of Brooklyn Bridge Park. “If they are not willing to turn it over to us, we’ll turn it over to them,” the mayor said. “But then we’re not going to put city money in, obviously.” Bloomberg did temper his tough talk with some softer language, reported The Daily News: “I was somewhat encouraged, actually, by the report I’ve gotten,” he added. “There’s a lot of dialogue going back and forth. And if you’re talking, then there’s a good chance of you coming up with a solution.” We shall see.
