Brooklyn Tunnel Tour
brooklyn-tunnel-tour.jpgThe Atlantic Avenue Tunnel is officially the world’s oldest subway tunnel. This narrated walking tour of the tunnel is led by Bob Diamond, who rediscovered the tunnel in 1980. The tour meets at the old Independence Bank building at the SW corner of Atlantic Avenue and Court Street, under the clock. Wear sneakers or boots and bring a flashlight. Reservations are required so call 718-941-3160 for reservations and further information. UPDATE: The tour is fully booked already.

Park Slope UMC’s 16th Annual Book & Media Fair
Park Slope United Methodist Church’s popular Annual Book Sale is back. There will be thousands of new and used books, CDs, DVDs, tapes, and records as well as a children’s corner with books, videos, DVDs, games, and puzzles.

Winter Pop-Up Flea
This weekend, Refinery29 will be the guest curator for the Dumbo Winter Pop-Up Flea. The Flea features 35 top vintage/antique vendors of furniture, clothing, objects, jewelry, curiosities, accessories, art, lighting, and food. For more details on all the vendors, click here.

CIBS Symposium on “Strategies for Dealing with the Economic Environment”
