357 Dean Street Hits the Market

When Gowanus Lounge looked at 357 Dean Street (aka Green on Dean) last week, he called it a “perfect example of out-of-context architecture,” a description that’s made all the more painful by the fact that a beautiful, albeit down-on-its-luck woodframe house was torn down to make room for this six-story structure. If you can get beyond that, though, the layouts look pretty nice, the windows are big and the building’s LEED certified. There are six floor-through units all with a little more than 1,000 square feet on the market with asking prices ranging from $759,000 to $799,000. We haven’t been able to dig up any interior photos on either the broker’s site or the development’s site.
