Who needs to go to D.C. to see the inauguration? You can celebrate a whole weekend of Obama fun on Dekalb Avenue. Twenty-eight restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and retail stores of the Dekalb Avenue Merchants’ Association invite you to “Celebrate the Inauguration on Dekalb” starting Friday, January 16 through Tuesday, January 20. Participating businesses will be offering special discounts, coupons, reduced-price prix-fixe menus, and more all weekend long. On Tuesday, some places will be opening early to broadcast the ceremony on their big screen TVs.
