The Brooklyn Steppers Marching Band, pride of the Boys and Girls High School in Bed Stuy, has been chosen from over 1,400 high school bands around the country to play at Obama’s inauguration next month. The only problem? They have to pay their own way. As a result, the school needs help raising money and finding lodging in the D.C. area.
