“I would not want to be the owner of the most expensive comp in the building…especially not these days,” wrote a commenter on yesterday’s Co-op of the Day thread in reference to a sleekly-renovated, 11th-floor one-bedroom at 193 Clinton Avenue. That quotation is looking all the apt in light of today’s Co-op, another one-bedroom on the 12th floor in the same building. The big difference? This one’s got no bells and whistles. (It does have a newish kitchen, but it looks like a Home Depot special.) Of course, this one’s also priced quite a bit lower: $269,000 versus $409,000. Which is a better deal?
