Modern on Lincoln

We’ve been watching this new building on Lincoln Place between 5th and 6th emerge for the past few months. The architect is Brooklyn Heights-based John Hatheway. You can see from the Property Shark photo that it was a rather sweet two-story wood framed house with a bracketed cornice, which was sold in 2006 for $1.35 million; a hefty price for a tear-down. The FAR is 2.0, though, so once they knocked that out they could go higher. The new building permit, filed two years ago, calls for a four-story, four-unit building. GMAP
