JL Aronson’s documentary Up On the Roof follows Williamsburg’s pigeon breeders, but it’s really the story of gentrification. The film followed several breeders in a largely Latino Brooklyn area, whose flocks are endangered by development. It screens tonight at Monkeytown, also in Williamsburg.
