Last time we checked, 340 Bond had just graduated from the cinderblock phase, its (faux?) wood cladding starting to be affixed. Well, it’s down to finishing touches phase (the last permit was for shoring the party wall), and The Developers Group has begun marketing the Asian-themed building as The Satori (it’s a Japanese Buddhist term for enlightenment). The building is “fueled by nature and the simplicity it provides to create unique residences originated to enhance, not interfere with, life,” according to the Web copy—maybe that’s why the windows are small? Per a representative for the building: “Pricing has not been released yet, but TDG/The Developers Group is starting priority appointments the week before and after Labor Day.”
