Work ground to a halt on Monday at the Avalon Bay site at the corner of Flatbush and Myrtle. The 650-unit rental project was hit with a Stop Work Order for operating with an expired Sheeting and Shoring permit. No doubt it’ll be resolved quickly and the march toward 42 stories will continue. At least, for the developers, they made the 421-a cut-off back in June.
