Signs of Life at the Novo

Seems that some Novo buyers were very eager to call the 4th Avenue condo home. A reader sent the photo above, snapped today, along with the following note: “More people have been trickling in, and one of the contractors working on the ground-floor space says there have been people living there for almost a month. Boymelgreen’s contractors are still taking forever to fix up the section of J.J. Byrne park behind the building.” If it’s true that the Novo’s been inhabited for almost a month, some buyers must have closed and moved in as soon as the building’s temporary C-of-O came through. According to Property Shark, there have been nine closings at the 116-unit Novo, ranging from $345,000 to $910,000. We don’t know how much of the building is in contract or remains to be sold. StreetEasy shows 12 active listings at the condo, with the priciest going for almost $1 million.
