After several months of seeming inactivity, construction has kicked into high gear at 80 Deklab Avenue, Forest City Ratner’s 36-story rental tower. The foundation and basement for the 369-unit building are now finished and the action is moving above the plywood into plain view. Right now, the crew is building the plywood molds around the existing steel beams to pour concrete. According to one of the workers on site, the building’s going to start flying up now that they’ve reached this stage.
