Not counting the rental on the north corner of Carroll and 4th Ave., there are four developments planned or under construction on Carroll between 4th and 5th avenues. The breakdown:

455 4th Ave: 41 units, 12 stories, developed by Essex Capital and designed by Armand Quadrini. Original architect on the job was Robert Scarano.

580 Carroll Street: Sign says it’s called the “Garfield Sparta.” Architect is Ten Arquitectos; rendering has not yet surfaced. (We’re dying to see it!) 5 stories, 19 units.

571 Carroll Street: 5 stories, 18 units. Some demolition of existing buildings has occurred.

559 Carroll Street: 4 stories, planned as condos.
