Last November we wondered what had become of this Scarano-designed apartment at 392 St. Marks Avenue in Prospect Heights. In 2005, work was proceeding on the project full-trottle, so much so that residents complained about construction starting at 6 a.m., and in 2007 the Department of Buildings issued a Stop Work Order. That Stop Work Order was rescinded in January but there’s still be no work at the site. We rode by last week and not a hair was out of place. Meanwhile, we found the above renderings of the interior on Durukan Design’s website. Check out those strawberry rain boots! Anyone know what’s going on?
