An email that’s circulating from the plan’s opponents says community members are expected to show up in full force to protest the jail’s reopening.

I spotted Streep. Big striped heeled shoes, plaid suit, hat (she was in costume as Julia Child). Streep’s trailer was in front of Nancy Nancy. They also filmed some outdoor shots of her crossing the street along 5th Ave. Coincidently I caught them filming today at E 89th and 5th in Manhattan as well.

At one time I and several Carroll streeters were hanging outside AlDiLa talking about Streep and her guard started to walk towards us threateningly and my neighbor shouts out “Don’t worry we’re not stalking her!” He glared at us awhile, but didn’t say anything.
They were shooting today at the Oriental Pavilion near the Lincoln Rd. entrance to Prospect Park. It looked like an outdoor wedding scene. There were also a lot of early ’50s American cars and a pre-war LaSalle, all, strangely, with European plates.
Yes, a relative of mine did and watched the shoot on a monitor thanks to a friend in the movie crew. Meryl was shooting a scene (early evening) in the restaurant with Stanley Tucci who is playing JC’s husband, Paul.
