The new spinoff of Park Slope’s Bar Toto, Bar Tano, is going to open on 9th Street and 3rd Avenue this week. The restaurant’s space has been lovingly renovated (check the before photos here), and the menu—which hasn’t yet been finalized— probably isn’t going to stray too far from Toto’s “panini+” formula. The bar is hosting an opening party tomorrow from 6 to 11 p.m. (Brownstoner readers welcome) and will officially be in business for dinner on Thursday.
