A reader sent in this great perspective on the construction underway at 240 Atlantic Avenue, catty corner from the House of Detention. While DOB has yet to approve plans for a 5-story, 55-unit building here, it has given the go-ahead to build the foundation in the meantime. While we’re not complaining really, doesn’t this seem like a location where a slightly taller building would be appropriate?
