We’re off for the holiday today but…We just discovered this very cool new slideshow application called PictoBrowser and wanted to give it a whirl. So, in anticipation of Brooklyn Flea’s imminent launch, we threw together a look at last September’s Salvage Fest, our first toe-dip into this whole outdoor market thing. Most of the folks who were there—Demolition Depot, Olde Good Things, Silver Fox and Eddie’s—are going to be a part of the Flea along with a whole host of others selling antiques and other old-school items. For a reasonable up-to-date but not comprehensive list, check out the side bar on the Brooklyn Flea Blog.

  1. There are no people of color in these photos! Clearly, unmistakably, indubitably, Mr. B, this site, this event, those vendors, and all of you by extension are racists. Filthy, unabashed racists. And the parking lot they had it in too. And so…SO sexist. Sexist, all of you. I’m appalled.

    Racists.

  2. Ok, ok I will try to chill. Do you know why? Because to fireworks are about to begin! I want to be here front and center during the implosion. I will try not to use the F-word but, Asshat and Asshead will still be used. Maybe I can use F-tard or Asstard. Maybe I need to work on that “Ass thing” LMMFAO!

2:30, you’d be interested to know that Curbed has just instituted a system whereby a registered user can flag a post for review.

Hopefully my post won’t be deleted for sexism.

We need more cops, more laws, more rules, more restrictions.
